Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor leads day-to-day operations on the production floor, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. This role supports the Production Manager by supervising production team members, coordinating workflow, and maintaining operational continuity. The Production Supervisor provides hands-on leadership, serves as a primary point of contact for the team, delivers real-time coaching and performance feedback, and supports training, hiring, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position plays a key role in fostering accountability, collaboration, and a positive, high-performing work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production activities, ensuring schedules, priorities, and assignments are executed efficiently
  • Provide hands-on leadership as a key resource and point of contact for production team members, offering daily operational support, real-time performance feedback and coaching, and driving accountability
  • Ensure products meet quality standards through regular checks and adherence to established processes
  • Support training of new and existing team members on procedures, equipment use, and safety practices
  • Assist with the hiring process by participating in interviews, providing feedback on candidates, and helping onboard new team members
  • Serve as the backup to the Production Manager during absences, maintaining continuity of operations and decision-making
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, ensuring compliance with company safety policies and standards
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager and other departments as needed to resolve issues and keep production on track
  • Perform additional responsibilities in support of team and company goals as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production with supervisory or management responsibilities
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Epicor experience preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Comfortable addressing issues, solving problems, and escalating when appropriate
  • Adaptable, hands-on, and willing to work alongside the team
  • Experience assisting with hiring, training, or onboarding is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65, $75,000.00 per year
