Responsibilities
What You'll Do
The Accountant is an integral part of our finance team to support the financial health of our organization and project operations. In this role, you will prepare and post general ledger entries, reconcile key accounts, assist with financial reporting, and contribute to contract administration and client invoicing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare, enter, and post general ledger journal entries
- Reconcile asset and liability accounts and research variances
- Support basic financial reporting, analysis, and audit deliverables
- Assist with project invoicing and contract compliance
- Help monitor project budgets, funding, and percent complete progress
- Collaborate with project teams on financial status and issue resolution
- Support collections and Accounts Receivable documentation
- Coordinate sales/use tax filings, personal property tax returns, and 1099s
- Participate in special projects as needed
Qualifications
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
4+ years of professional accounting experience required; prior experience in the architecture, engineering, or professional services industry is highly desirable.
- Basic technical accounting knowledge; basic knowledge of financial statement analysis; familiarity with Earned Value Management preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general ledger accounting; experience with AEC360 Microsoft Dynamics F&O preferred.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to assess solutions and approaches to problems.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, handle confidential information, and collaborate across teams.
The salary for this position ranges from $62,615 to $100,185 per year, commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
