Maintenance Technician

Multifamily Select Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our community in Winston-Salem, NC.

Position Requirements

• Management of work orders, vendors, unit turns, building systems and repairs equipment.

• Providing excellent customer service, to ensure positive tenant and owner relations

• Inspecting and evaluating the property, recording deficiencies and notifying tenants to take any corrective actions

• Coordination with property manager with regards to expenses.

Experience Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (GED)

• 2 years experience in maintenance such as (drywall repair, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, rough carpentry, electrical work, appliance repair)

• Ability to work evenings and weekends (on call rotation)

• Excellent verbal communication, customer service and interpersonal skills

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time

• Must be able to pass a criminal background, drug test and driving record check

• Driver's license, insurance and reliable transportation required

• HVAC Certifications

Special Requirements:

Physical demands; Standing, sitting, walking, climbing, operating machinery, lifting, . Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends occasionally. Driving required. Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
