Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our educational team. Duties

  • Develop and deliver engaging curriculum for CNA and Medication Aide programs, incorporating adult education principles and current medical standards
  • Utilize learning management systems (LMS) such as TalentLMS to organize course materials, assessments, and student progress tracking
  • Conduct classroom instruction and supervise clinical practice in teaching hospitals or healthcare facilities with a focus on patient care, documentation review, and care plans
  • Assess student performance through exams, practical demonstrations, and clinical evaluations while providing constructive feedback
  • Supervise students during clinical rotations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in acute care, senior care, and primary care environments
  • Incorporate research findings and evidence-based practices into lesson plans to enhance learning outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, certifications earned, and compliance with licensing requirements

Qualifications

  • Valid LPN license or equivalent certification with current registration in applicable state or region
  • Proven experience in nursing practice across diverse settings and one year in long-term care facilities
  • Prior teaching experience in higher education or adult education environments preferred; classroom experience is highly valued
  • Supervising experience with students or staff in clinical or educational settings is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, nursing procedures, care plans, documentation review processes, and patient safety protocols
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms like TalentLMS or similar learning technology tools for curriculum delivery and assessment management
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations including senior care patients
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage adult learners while maintaining professionalism
  • Ability to develop curriculum content aligned with accreditation standards and industry best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently within a collaborative team environment
