We’re looking for an experienced IT Security Manager to join our Infrastructure team and help safeguard our organisation against evolving cyber threats. This is a key role where you’ll shape, strengthen, and mature our security posture across the business.
You can be based in either Darlington or Leeds, and we offer hybrid working, giving you the flexibility to balance time between home and the office while collaborating closely with technical teams and stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing
Security Operations & Threat Management
Lead the configuration, deployment, and ongoing management of antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
Investigate and respond to spam, phishing attempts, malware alerts, and other suspicious activity.
Manage, triage, and prioritise security-related tickets to ensure timely resolution.
Monitor the evolving threat landscape and identify emerging risks, vulnerabilities, and attacker behaviour.
Security Standards, Policy & Governance
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and documentation.
Implement and enforce security controls to protect systems, data, and infrastructure.
Continuous Improvement & Capability Development
Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity tools and industry best practices.
Recommend and implement improvements to security technologies and processes
Contribute to strengthening our security capabilities and overall resilience.
What You’ll Bring
Hands on experience working with a range of cybersecurity detection, monitoring, and incident response technologies.
Experience implementing and managing MFA solutions.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity guidance, standards, and best practices.
Ability to work autonomously and make informed risk assessments in fast-paced situations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
