SHE Advisor

Salary: Up to £40,000, based on your skills and experience.

As a SHE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety, health, and environmental compliance across our business. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Provide Expert Guidance: Offer professional and accurate SHE advice on legislation and company procedures, ensuring clarity and compliance within agreed timelines.
• Conduct Audits: Perform SHE audits and inspections in line with internal procedures and ISO 45001/14001 requirements, adhering to communicated schedules.
• Investigate Incidents: Analyze SHE accidents and non-conformances, producing comprehensive reports with root cause analysis within set timeframes.
• Lead Training Sessions: Support SHE workshops and training, acting as the point of contact for our training portal.
• Enhance Management Systems: Assist in the delivery of existing and new SHE management systems.
• Engage in Community Activities: Participate in and support wider SHE initiatives, including public and promotional events.

We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Professional SHE Qualification: NEBOSH General Certificate or IEMA Foundation Certificate.
• Internal Auditor Skills: Practical experience, with ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Internal Auditor qualification being a plus.
• Knowledge of UK SHE Legislation: A solid understanding is essential.
• Investigation Skills: Proficient in accident and incident investigation.
• Legal Acumen: Familiarity with contractual and legal requirements.
