Salary: Starting from £70,000, depending on experience, plus a car allowance and bonus opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing:As a Lead Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our architectural solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Optimizing architecture solutions to align with schedules, scope, requirements, and strategic objectives.
- Influencing stakeholders from Directors to Subject Matter Experts, while leading a team of experts to achieve consensus on architectures and solutions.
- Designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions using the latest SIEMENS CAD & PLM software.
- Integrating with existing CAM, MES, and ERP solutions to support quality, testing, construction, and manufacturing processes.
- Evaluating and selecting technologies and vendors to meet the needs of BAE’s Submarine programme.
- Collaborating with technology and software partners to resolve complex technical issues.
- Developing and maintaining enterprise architecture frameworks that align business demand with industry best practices.
- Managing governance processes to ensure that solution builds meet architectural and design review quality criteria.
Essential:
- Experience as a CAD or PLM Consultant/Architect with a solid understanding of designing and implementing solutions for large engineering programmes.
- Familiarity with architecture repository tools like Enterprise Architect and architecture modeling frameworks.
- Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable:
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence or similar collaboration technologies supporting agile delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of SAP and PE&O product suites for large manufacturing projects.
