this is a marketing-focused data role, so professional experience in a marketing or agency environment is essential. Our client, a leading brand, marketing and technology agency, is looking for a Data Analytics Manager to lead their marketing data function in Brighton. This is a senior role for someone who can combine technical skill with commercial insight, providing the confidence senior teams need to make critical business decisions.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end analysis of marketing performance, spotting trends, diagnosing issues, and recommending actionable solutions.
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting systems (GA4, Looker Studio) that provide a single source of truth for clients and internal teams.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and client-facing teams.
Challenge creative and strategic assumptions, ensuring decisions are backed by evidence.
Set and maintain high standards for data accuracy and best practice across the agency.
Qualifications
Professional experience in a marketing or agency environment is essential.
Strong experience with
Google products, including GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Sheets.
Proven ability to analyse marketing performance and translate data into actionable insights.
Confident in guiding teams and influencing decisions with data.
Methodical, commercially aware, and able to balance hands-on reporting with strategic oversight.
Flexible working hours and hybrid setup – split your time between home and Brighton’s Laines.
4-day week with Fridays off.
