About
Lead Data Analyst , you will act as a key partner to the Head of Analytics, taking full ownership of our most strategic client accounts. This is a high-impact role where you will operate as a data and technology partner for your clients, owning their tech roadmap while fostering a proactive relationship with them. Focusing on the core analytical infrastructure and strategy, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of data projects. You will define the strategy with the client, architect the data transformations in dbt, and present the final insights to C-suite stakeholders. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and business value, ensuring that our work translates directly into profit for our clients. About you: You are a senior data practitioner who loves the intersection of technical building and commercial strategy. You are just as comfortable writing complex dbt models and SQL transformations as you are presenting an insightful piece of analysis to a Marketing Director. You are highly organised, an exceptional communicator, and capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy. You should apply if you: Have a strong technical background with expert-level proficiency in SQL and dbt and are comfortable building and maintaining production-grade data models Have extensive experience in Client Management. You have ideally acted in a consulting role, creating 6-12 month data roadmaps and ensuring timely delivery. Are a master of Data Visualisation (Tableau, Looker, etc.) and know how to tell a compelling story with data, not just display numbers. Have strong Project Management and Organisational skills. You can manage multiple workstreams, prioritise effective backlogs, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Have a deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, including tracking, attribution, and platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, and GA4. Have some experience or interest in Data Science/Modelling (e.g., Python for forecasting or lightweight regression models) Have excellent communication skills. You can translate complex technical concepts (like attribution models or server-side tracking) into clear, non-technical language for clients. Are ready to act as a senior leader within the team, mentoring junior analysts and setting the standard for analytical rigour and client service. In return for your work, time and skills, we offer a competitive salary and some additional benefits: Equity in the Business : Gain ownership in WeDiscover through our EMI Options Scheme, allowing you to share in the success you help create. Significant Career Advancement : Be part of a fast-growing agency where your contributions will have a direct impact on our growth and culture. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the direction of the business, joining at a pivotal stage in our journey. Location Flexibility:
We have an office in the centre of London where we love to see you, but we are open to applications from other parts of the UK, Spain or Portugal. Top of the Range Tools:
We provide top-quality equipment, including a high-spec laptop, screens, and access to our bespoke technology, ensuring you have everything you need to succeed. Generous Time Off:
Enjoy 28 days of annual leave (plus the usual bank holidays) and the option to take a 5-week paid sabbatical after 5 years of service to refresh and recharge. Wellness & Wellbeing:
Get a £40 monthly wellness subscription to your choice of services like Calm, Headspace, Huel, Thriva, or a gym membership to support your well-being. Volunteering & Giving Back:
Take two volunteering days per year to give back to a cause you care about. Continuous Learning:
Access a £200 annual learning fund for books, courses, or subscriptions. Our culture of continuous training supports both technical skills and broader business acumen development. Inclusive Culture:
We’re committed to building an inclusive, positive environment where success is shared, and everyone feels supported in achieving their best. WeDiscover is an equal opportunity employer.
