About

We are currently seeking a Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of a financial services retail location in Montreal. The Store Manager will be responsible for operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team leadership in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

This position is for an experienced manager from the banking/financial sector who is comfortable in the field, capable of motivating a team, and providing high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and handle inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Manage daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and transaction oversight
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate store staff
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching
  • Create and manage staff schedules to meet operational needs
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve escalated client concerns
  • Educate customers on available financial services (money transfers, bill payments, currency exchange, etc.)
  • Monitor transactions and escalate suspicious activity in accordance with internal procedures
  • Drive store performance to achieve service and sales objectives
  • Support local marketing initiatives to promote in-store services
  • Analyze customer trends and recommend service improvements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of business management experience in banking or finance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required, as there is a great deal of interaction with French-speaking and English-speaking customers
  • Comfortable working with POS systems and basic financial tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
