About
We are seeking an Order Picker to join our bustling logistics center in Orlando, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled for shipment. The ideal candidate is energetic, possesses strong attention to detail, and is committed to upholding safety standards. You will navigate the warehouse, locate and retrieve items using RF scanning technology, and prepare them for the packing process. This role is a key component of our supply chain operations, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated staging area.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming merchandise.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures, including proper lifting and equipment operation.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety vests, gloves, and safety shoes.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure efficient workflow to meet order fulfillment deadlines within our logistics network.
- Follow all company policies and operational guidelines meticulously.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including potential overtime or weekends.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is preferred.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and wearing required PPE.
