We are hiring Warehouse Associates for our facility in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, involving a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient handling and movement of goods. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, reliable individual with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and designated areas with incoming merchandise accurately.
- Pick items for customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Wear required PPE at all times, such as safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational targets.
- Follow all instructions and guidance from supervisors and management.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain efficiency of the facility.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, but motivated individuals without experience are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime or weekends.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of required PPE.
