About
We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse stock to fulfill customer orders. This role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses the physical stamina required for warehouse work. We are committed to providing a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on pick lists or electronic devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move items within the warehouse.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to a supervisor immediately.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to order picking and warehouse operations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
