Join our growing team as a Warehouse Worker in the vibrant city of Virginia Beach, Virginia. We are looking for diligent and hardworking individuals to contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics facility. As a Warehouse Worker, your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of tasks essential to efficient warehouse management, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. Your physical capability, including consistent Lifting of items, is crucial to this role. We are committed to maintaining a secure and efficient workplace, prioritizing Safety above all else. All team members are expected to strictly follow Safety procedures and wear the provided PPE . This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of Logistics and contribute to a supportive team environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and utilize required PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is an asset.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
- Awareness of and commitment to workplace Safety .
- Familiarity with basic Logistics principles.
