Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments.
- Verify packing slips against received goods for accuracy.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all received and shipped items.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ensure the shipping and receiving areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Process returns and manage shipping supplies.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or a similar logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and inventory management systems.
- Ability to perform regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of PPE in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
