We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our logistics team in Washington, D.C. This critical role ensures the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments. You will be responsible for managing the flow of goods into and out of our facility, verifying quantities, inspecting for damage, and preparing documentation. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments.
  • Verify packing slips against received goods for accuracy.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for all received and shipped items.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Ensure the shipping and receiving areas are clean, organized, and safe.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Process returns and manage shipping supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or a similar logistics role.
  • Proficiency with shipping software and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to perform regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of PPE in a warehouse setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
