We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our state-of-the-art facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota! This is a crucial role in our logistics chain, responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or discrepancies.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring products are protected during transit.
- Label packages with appropriate shipping information.
- Stage packed orders for shipment and assist with loading trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Utilize required PPE consistently and correctly.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
