About
Our Richmond, Virginia location is looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is vital for the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. We need individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling the physical demands of a warehouse environment, including frequent Lifting. A strong commitment to Safety protocols and teamwork is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for loading onto delivery trucks.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational efficiency and meet daily goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent Lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be committed to workplace Safety and wear all required PPE.
