This role is central to our fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are assembled accurately and dispatched efficiently. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse to pick specific items, then carefully packing them for shipment. Success in this position requires speed, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining inventory integrity. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and physically capable of performing the demands of the job, including regular Lifting. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from assigned warehouse locations using order lists or scanners.
- Inspect items for damage or defects prior to packing.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Affix shipping labels and prepare packages for the shipping dock.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through careful handling and system updates.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks safely.
- Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and company policies, including the use of required PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 35 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Must be able to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
