Join our team as a Fulfillment Associate in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and play a vital role in our logistics operations. This position is essential for ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various tools and equipment to fulfill orders efficiently and correctly. The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for maintaining the integrity of inventory, ensuring product quality, and contributing to the overall success of our distribution center. We are looking for motivated individuals who are detail-oriented, capable of performing physical tasks, and dedicated to upholding high standards of safety and productivity. Your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth functioning of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and other picking technologies.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Inspect products for quality control before packing and shipping.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and storage procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
- Replenish stock as needed to ensure order fulfillment availability.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Contribute to team goals and support fellow associates.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
