Forté Specialty Contractors is looking for our next Project Coordinator. Our small projects coordinator
will be responsible for overseeing the renovations, remodels, and specialty projects undertaken by our Custom Home Maintenance (CHM) team. These projects will range from minor corrections/repairs to fully-fleshed out projects spanning several weeks/months at a time.
This position is based in Las Vegas, NV.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Effectively managing the budget for ongoing projects within the CHM team. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Ensuring the necessary materials/products/compounds are sourced correctly, efficiently, and timely.
- Tracking the total budget and ensuring the project spend aligns with the completed proposal.
- Holding team members and subcontractors to the time-sensitive deadlines for each respective project.
- Course correcting any missteps that may arise during the lifecycle of an ongoing project.
- Notifying leadership if projects need radical course correction.
- Track all ongoing specialty projects within the CHM team; this should be compiled into a single document and needs to be concise, clear, and easily shareable.
- Daily, high level updates for entire CHM team.
- Coordinating with the Ops, Flex, and/or Field coordinator to ensure appropriate tasks are completed and schedules are planned efficiently.
- Quality control/assurance for work performed on projects as needed.
- Other job duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Multiple years of experience with high-end customer service is required.
- Experience managing multiple projects at a given time.
- Firm grasp and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and work at a high level whilst unsupervised.
- Operational and/or experience in the construction industry preferred.
