About

Total Body Skin Care and Wellness Spa, Wayne NJ's elite boutique day spa specializing in facials, therapeutic massage, lymphatic drainage, body sculpting and waxing, is hiring a Guest Services Associate to lead our afternoon customer-care efforts.

This is a long-term, permanent position with consistent, steady hours. Our clients, staff and management will be depending on your presence day-in, day-out. All candidates are welcome to apply, including esthetics-school students or recent graduates. It will put you front-and-center at the reception desk of our growing spa, allowing you to show off your client-service skills and position you for a future position as a skin-care specialist, taking care of our exclusive, highly loyal clientele.

Do these hours work for you?
Monday-Friday: 2:30 pm to closing (usually 7:30 pm)
Saturdays: 9 am to closing (usually 5 pm)
Candidates must be able to keep this schedule consistently over time.

In this position, yours will be the first voice our clients hear when booking an appointment, and the first face they see when the enter our zen-like facility. For this reason we seek a self-confident, poised staff member with a love of social interaction and strong interpersonal skills, who makes our guests feel welcome and special at all times.

Guest-related job duties include assisting our guests with appointment booking, answering the telephone and responding to email and text messages related to appointments, welcoming guests upon their arrival and closing them out, inquiring about their satisfaction with our services, offering and selling them products, performing data entry, etc.

That being said, this is not a sit-down job. Applicant should be prepared to be up and about during the day, performing other non-guest-related activities such as stocking shelves, doing inventory, communicating with therapists to ensure good client flow, occasionally helping therapists prepare for upcoming appointments and performing basic housekeeping.

Standard hourly compensation supplemented by team-based pay tied to achieving performance metrics for re-booking, sales of treatment enhancements, packages and gift cards, etc.

Preferred experience/background:

1+ years of spa/salon experience

Bi-lingual Spanish/English

Tech-savvy

Social media skills
