We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to join our bustling warehouse in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility, supporting our extensive logistics operations. You will operate various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and assist with order fulfillment. A strong commitment to safety , attention to detail, and proven forklift operation skills are essential. This is a physically demanding role that requires precision and a dedication to maintaining a secure work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after each shift, reporting any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning or manual entry.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines, including proper PPE usage.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including order picking and packing.
- Adhere to all loading and unloading protocols to ensure product integrity and vehicle security.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Participate in regular warehouse safety training and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory management.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices.
