About
Our growing logistics operation in Des Moines, Iowa, is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist! This role is critical to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and maintaining accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system (WMS). Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail are essential for this position. You will work closely with warehouse staff to identify and resolve inventory issues, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics process. A commitment to a safe work environment is expected, including understanding and following all safety guidelines and using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required in operational areas. While not primarily a physical role, occasional lifting of items up to 30 pounds may be necessary. Experience with WMS software and advanced Excel skills are highly desirable.
