Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a rewarding role in Minneapolis, Minnesota? We are hiring Picker/Packers to join our efficient warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking orders and preparing them for shipment, playing a key part in our overall logistics operations. You will work with a variety of products, ensuring that each order is fulfilled with precision and care. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a dynamic warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages with shipping information.
- Operate equipment such as scanners and hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily picking and packing targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or order fulfillment is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to follow instructions and company policies.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
