We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Miami, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or scanner data, preparing them for shipment. This position demands a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse equipment and a strong understanding of inventory management principles. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product information and quantities before picking.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Contribute to team goals and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following protocols.
