About
We are seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates for our Houston, Texas facility. This role is critical to our logistics network, ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our distribution center. You will perform a range of tasks including receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. A key aspect of this job is maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse to optimize operations and ensure Safety. You will operate various material handling equipment, and a strong commitment to following all Safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This position requires physical dexterity, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a keen eye for detail to minimize errors. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick orders using scanning devices and prepare them for packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely.
- Follow all company Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent physical tasks, including Lifting up to 55 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and inventory systems.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
