We are looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage our operations in Jacksonville, Florida. The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee the daily functioning of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency in receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management. You will be responsible for coordinating staff, managing resources, and implementing best practices to maintain high levels of productivity and safety. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and information throughout our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including inbound and outbound logistics.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff, providing guidance and training.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Manage the receiving and dispatching of goods, verifying documentation.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring operational readiness.
- Liaise with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on warehouse operations.
- Must be capable of overseeing tasks involving significant Lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and experience in promoting a safe work environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in a logistics or distribution environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to train and motivate a team effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of efficiency and safety.
