Are you a detail-oriented professional seeking a challenging role in Inventory Control? Our growing Logistics company in Atlanta, Georgia, is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist. This position is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. You will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize shrinkage and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and a proven ability to analyze data and solve problems. A commitment to Safety and best practices is essential. Responsibilities include performing regular physical inventories and cycle counts, reconciling inventory records with physical stock, identifying and investigating stock discrepancies, managing stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO), and updating inventory records in the WMS. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate inventory data. This role may involve some Lifting of items and requires adherence to PPE guidelines. A strong understanding of Logistics principles and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues are key. We value a Safe and organized work environment.
