Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all warehouse locations.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Implement and refine inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Work closely with receiving, picking, and shipping teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Manage the process for damaged or obsolete inventory.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items to maintain quality.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support logistics and operations management with inventory-related reports and insights.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of logistics principles and supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
