Join our team as an Order Picker in Phoenix, Arizona, and play a critical role in our distribution center's success. We are searching for dedicated individuals who can accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders. Your main duties will involve locating products within the warehouse, verifying quantities and specifications, and preparing them for shipment. This fast-paced role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong sense of urgency, and a commitment to accuracy. You will be working with advanced warehouse management systems and equipment to ensure the smooth flow of goods. A proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Locate products within the warehouse, ensuring correct item and quantity identification.
- Transport picked items to designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Maintain inventory records and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, if required.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of your assigned work area.
- Support logistics team in achieving daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous order picking experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for using warehouse systems.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics operations.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
