We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of materials within our state-of-the-art logistics facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts to transport, load, and unload goods, contributing significantly to the efficiency of our warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move products and materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or shipping docks.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated locations, ensuring stability and Safety.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with inventory management and stock placement.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety regulations and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Follow all logistics and shipping procedures accurately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including some Lifting and carrying.
- Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
