In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and packing them securely for shipment to our valued customers. Your attention to detail and speed are crucial for ensuring order accuracy and customer satisfaction. You'll utilize scanning technology to locate items, verify quantities, and prepare orders for the shipping department. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Locate products within the warehouse efficiently and safely.
- Verify product codes and quantities for each order.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials.
- Prepare packed orders for shipping, including labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Meet daily picking and packing productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles.
