Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our facility in Durham, North Carolina. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our inventory, which is fundamental to our Logistics and overall business operations. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting audits, resolving discrepancies, and implementing best practices for inventory management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding high standards of Safety and accuracy. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical stock.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce loss.
  • Monitor inventory flow and ensure proper storage and organization.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure data integrity.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, accuracy, and movement.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and procedures.
  • Assist with the implementation of new inventory control technologies or processes.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of Logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
