Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Associate in Richmond, Virginia! This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our logistics and distribution processes. You will be involved in a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining an efficient and organized warehouse. Responsibilities include receiving incoming goods, accurately stocking inventory, fulfilling orders, and preparing items for shipment. We utilize modern warehouse management systems, and experience with RF scanners is beneficial. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all associates are required to follow strict safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to ensure a secure work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses a strong work ethic, and is comfortable performing physically demanding tasks. You should be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Accuracy and efficiency are key to success in this role, as you contribute directly to customer satisfaction through timely and correct order fulfillment. Responsibilities include: Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments; Storing inventory in designated locations; Picking items accurately to fulfill customer orders; Packing products securely for shipment; Preparing outgoing shipments for carriers; Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse; Operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment; Assisting with inventory counts and audits; Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE. This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the warehouse, and perform frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Support logistics operations and team members.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and PPE usage.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
