Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Organize and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper securing of products.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or equipment issues to management.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory handling.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and procedures.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics.
- Reliability and punctuality are crucial.
- Understanding of logistics operations and the importance of efficient workflow.
- Comfortable wearing required PPE.
