We are seeking a motivated and reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correct and in good condition.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and other material handling devices, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety guidelines.
