Job Summary:
We are looking for motivated individuals to join us as Warehouse Associates in Detroit, Michigan. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a busy logistics and distribution environment. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a wide range of tasks essential to our daily operations, including receiving goods, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. Accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety are key. You will work collaboratively with your team to ensure that all warehouse functions are carried out smoothly and effectively. We emphasize a safe working environment, requiring adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
  • Store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper organization.
  • Accurately pick products based on customer orders or work orders.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
  • Assist in the staging and loading of outgoing shipments.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Participate in inventory counts and checks.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous warehouse or similar experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety best practices, including the use of PPE.
  • Basic familiarity with inventory control and logistics.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
