As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a wide range of tasks essential to our daily operations, including receiving goods, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. Accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety are key. You will work collaboratively with your team to ensure that all warehouse functions are carried out smoothly and effectively. We emphasize a safe working environment, requiring adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper organization.
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders or work orders.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Assist in the staging and loading of outgoing shipments.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or similar experience is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices, including the use of PPE.
- Basic familiarity with inventory control and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
