Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock inventory in designated locations throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing transportation.
- Operate various warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts – with proper certification).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior warehouse experience is a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to perform consistent and accurate work.
- Capability for regular lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and material handling practices.
- Commitment to safety, including proper use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
