About
We are seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our vibrant Las Vegas, Nevada team. This role is fundamental to our ability to deliver products to our customers promptly and accurately. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, ensuring they match order requirements, and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and a strong adherence to safety standards. Proper use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner instructions.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including applying labels and necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team performance goals.
- Support the overall efficiency of the logistics and fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a significant advantage.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting, typically up to 40 lbs per item.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work at a fast pace.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts is helpful.
