We are seeking energetic Material Handlers to join our bustling logistics center in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the movement and organization of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, moving materials to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. - Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from designated areas using pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment.
- Assist with the organization and placement of inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform basic inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Follow all established Lifting guidelines to perform tasks safely and effectively.
- Wear and properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations.
Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Understanding of basic warehouse Safety principles. Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks.
