Are you a natural leader with a passion for logistics and operations? Our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to guide and motivate our warehouse team. In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, optimizing workflow, and ensuring that all team members follow established procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and productive work environment, resolving operational issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a combination of leadership skills, operational expertise, and a strong understanding of warehouse management systems. The role may involve some physical tasks, including Lifting, but the primary focus is on supervision and management. We are looking for individuals who can inspire a team and drive operational excellence within our logistics network. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
- Implement and enforce all Safety regulations and company policies, including PPE usage.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage carrier relationships and coordinate transportation logistics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
