In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage a team of warehouse staff, and ensure the efficient and safe flow of goods through our logistics network. A deep understanding of Safety procedures and the ability to enforce them rigorously is essential. This role requires a hands-on approach, often involving direct involvement in tasks such as Lifting heavy items, directing workflow, and resolving operational issues. You will also be responsible for ensuring all team members adhere to PPE requirements and other Safety protocols. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel.
  • Develop and implement operational plans to meet productivity goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage inventory control and accuracy.
  • Train and mentor new and existing team members.
  • Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in logistics.
  • Conduct regular Safety inspections and address any identified hazards.
  • Maintain records of team performance and operational metrics.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and adherence to PPE guidelines.
