Austin Film Festival (AFF) furthers the art and craft of filmmaking by inspiring and championing the work of screenwriters, filmmakers, and all artists who use the language of film, television, theatre, and new media to tell a story. AFF is dedicated to providing unique cultural events and services, enhancing public awareness and participation and encouraging long lasting community partnerships. JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Office Manager serves as a liaison between all departments at Austin Film Festival, while maintaining the mission of the Festival and the office itself. It is the Office Manager's responsibility to oversee all major projects including: printing & mailing collateral, manage the annual AFF Program Book, Pocket Guide, and Schedule Grid, AFF hotel partnerships and registrant bookings, and to make sure deadlines are being met. The position is also the first and main point of contact, internally and externally, for the organization.

In such an environment, the ability to work well under pressure, excellent communication skills and intense organizational skills are a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: The responsibilities of the Office Manager include but are not limited to:
- Maintain the overall success and operation of the office and AFF as a whole
- Open and close the office. The office is open 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday
- Maintain a stock of office supplies, mail supplies, copy paper, toner, kitchen supplies
- Be the point person for office equipment needs (copier, phones, phone lines, fax machines, computers, printers, internet), including problem management when needed
- Check voicemail, answer phones, and distribute messages
- Staff the AFF Office and Tech Center during the Festival with trusted interns, apprentices, and volunteers
- Responsible for the overall post-festival clean-up in the office
- Be prepared and knowledgeable to answer questions regarding the Conference, Film and Screenplay competitions, Hotels, and Registration
- Basic Human Resources functions including assisting with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of staff and contract positions
- Recruit, onboard and train interns, and volunteers
- Supports IT needs, including managing inventory of computer equipment and setting up technology accounts
- Post all pertinent event information (including Registration forms) around the office and teach all volunteers/interns about how to access information and answer general questions
- Basic daily bookkeeping responsibilities including: the oversee of petty cash spending,
