Pool Director / Aquatics Manager – 2026 Seasonal Position

Point O' Woods Golf & Country Club is seeking an experienced Certified Pool Operator (CPO) to manage and maintain all aspects of the club's aquatic facilities for the 2026 season. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience managing and maintaining a pool in a comparable club or recreational setting, with a strong focus on safety, operations, and guest satisfaction.

Required certifications: CPR, CPO, First Aid, Lifeguard, and AED/BLS.

Key Responsibilities

Pool Operations, Maintenance & Safety

• Manage and maintain daily pool operations in compliance with all health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee routine pool maintenance, equipment operation, water chemistry testing, and required documentation.
• Ensure the pool, deck areas, and related facilities are clean, safe, and guest-ready at all times.
• Enforce pool rules, manage crowd control, and immediately report safety concerns or incidents.

Staff Leadership

• Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate pool staff.
• Lead weekly staff meetings and in-service training, including emergency procedures and camp protocols.

Programs, Camps & Events

• Plan, manage, and oversee swim lessons, aquatic camps, and youth programming.
• Coordinate pool events, private parties, and recreational activities.
• Supervise camp staff and ensure proper staffing ratios and safety procedures.

Guest Experience

• Provide professional, responsive service to members and guests.
• Collaborate with food & beverage and club leadership to ensure a seamless club experience.
• Promote pool activities, lessons, and camps to enhance participation and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current CPR, CPO, First Aid, Lifeguard, and AED/BLS certifications.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience managing and maintaining a pool or aquatic facility.
• Proven leadership, strong communication skills, and sound operational judgment.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $3, $4,000.00 per month
