The Expert Project Engineer will manage small, minor and major capital projects from end to end and all key components of major capital projects (concept, scope, cost, resources, funding, etc.) They maintain visibility to the design process and assure adherence to all established key components and project deliverables and directly manage overall project execution including construction and commissioning. The Expert Project Engineer will coordinate with the client as well as various other groups inside and outside of the organization Assist in the development of pre-project approval documents including project charter, project management plan, project kick start, estimate and milestone schedule creation. Ensure design progress and deliverables are met in adherence to established project key components. Receive design details from the design team with full understanding of project deliverables to coordinate bid package development and release for construction bidding and field execution. Direct and execute installation, construction and commissioning of assigned projects. Manage adherence to project milestones and project scope and secure approvals for all changes in projects based on engineering ways of working methodology. Provide construction management and plant startup assistance to ensure successful project execution. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and 7+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related field OR Associate's Degree and 10+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related field Other Must be willing to travel up to 30-75% depending on project schedules and milestones Don’t meet all the qualifications listed under “other”? The approximate yearly pay range for this position is $125,000 - $168,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
