Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients and represent our company. A strong background in driving, along with the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various delivery equipment, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle for deliveries.
• Load and unload products at designated locations, ensuring proper handling of items.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage and delivery confirmations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
• Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Proven commercial driving experience, particularly with box trucks or similar vehicles.
• Previous delivery driver experience preferred, demonstrating knowledge of route driving.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods safely and efficiently.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
