Job Overview
Asian Cafe Concord is seeking an experienced and friendly server to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Take and serve orders accurately using POS system
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
• Provide attentive guest service by answering questions, upselling menu items, and accommodating special requests.
• Buss tables, clear dishes, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Support host/host functions such as seating guests
• Uphold sanitation standards through proper cleaning and organization of workstations and dining areas.
• Assist in opening or closing duties as needed, including restocking supplies and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Skills

• Experience with POS systems is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures within the food industry.
• Previous restaurant or food service experience, including asian or sushi dishes preferred.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy.
• Strong communication skills for guest relations and team collaboration.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
