Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ocala, FL for an Internal Admissions Coordinator. The role involves serving as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families, coordinating the admission process, and ensuring a seamless transition into the facility. Responsibilities include evaluating potential residents' eligibility, communicating with medical and insurance professionals, and providing exceptional customer service. The coordinator will also maintain accurate records, assist with training related to admissions processes, and adhere to all regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to professionally engage with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of Medicare processes and Medical Terminology to ensure accurate eligibility evaluations and compliance.
  • Experience in providing Training related to admissions processes and relevant procedures.
  • Attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills to efficiently manage admissions and maintain detailed records.
  • Proficiency in using computers and healthcare-related software systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating independence and initiative in tasks.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare admissions or related field is highly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.
