About

Lead DevOps Engineer - Climate Tech - London / Cambridge Lead DevOps at a fast-growing climate-tech company shaping the future of energy planning. You’ll own AWS platform automation, containerisation, CI/CD, data migrations, developer experience, and reliability - working directly with the CTO to modernise and scale the entire platform.
What you’ll lead
Infrastructure-as-Code using CloudFormation
Containerised deployments with ECS + Fargate
CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions)
PostgreSQL & DynamoDB migrations
Monitoring, logging, and alerting
Local dev tooling + smoother developer workflows
What you bring
Deep AWS (ECS, Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
Strong IaC (CloudFormation), Docker, CI/CD
Experience with large data migrations (PostgreSQL/DynamoDB)
Nice to have:
Terraform, Kubernetes, geospatial data, SRE experience, DataDog/Grafana, FinOps.
