QA Engineering Lead (AI)

We’re looking for QA Engineering Leads to work on our GenAI products to help shape the future of what we build at Meta. You enjoy solving quality challenges on products built in cutting edge technology serving 2.9 billion people worldwide.QA Engineering Lead (AI) ResponsibilitiesWork on building a quality driven engineering environment that helps ship products rapidly and with confidenceDevelop and implement robust evaluation processes for AI modelsDrive the quality for a product/feature, assess risks to and ensure shipping features with a high quality barPlan, develop, and execute test strategy across core Meta products and platformsLead quality assurance efforts that aligns with product objectives and develop scalable solutionsHelp solve cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute impactful ideas to improve qualityImplement and evolve QA processes to get effective test signal and scale testing efforts across multiple productsDefine quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the productPartner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of productMinimum QualificationsCurrently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta3+ years of quality assurance and test engineering experience.1+ years of experience in AI model testing/evaluations and setting model quality standards.Experience in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent coding language.Experience in testing and debugging web or mobile applications.Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience.Experience to change priorities quickly and adapt effectively in a fast moving product development cycle.Hands-on experience with test planning, test designing and execution, performance and stress testing, implementing and maintaining quality test automation of both client and server systems.Communicating with stakeholders, analytical and problem-solving experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience in managing black box and white box testing.Demonstrated experience and resourcefulness to improve product coverage and effectiveness.Experience working with medium to large engineering teams.Experience working with AI Research teams, communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.Experience testing text/image modelsFor those who live in or expect to work from California if hired for this position, please click here for additional information.About MetaMeta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
